over 4 years ago – Tue, Aug 06, 2019 at 09:17:19 PM

Hello backers!

We've finished setting up the Backerkit for this campaign, and have officially submitted it to their team for review. If everything looks good, we'll get the green light from them soon to send out the first round of backer surveys!

We'll make another announcement once the first wave of surveys go out and the pre-order store opens!

Thank you!

20, 20, 24 HOURS TO GO!

Thanks to everyone  who has backed & helped out the Acid Vomit! campaign thus far!

Acid Vomit! is funded & then some & I've began laying it out in my head - where this stuff originates supposedly.

This is your final moment to share Acid Vomit! with the world & get some more poor souls into the Kickstarter discounted door before it closes forever!

x Sean

Not the reason for the title of this book nor my MO -  An English teacher in highschool said, "Sean thinks he can vomit all over a page & call it art”

Dungeon Degenerates and Acid Vomit - an explanation of the situation
almost 5 years ago – Mon, Jul 22, 2019 at 11:33:20 AM

The number one question we keep getting asked is "will Dungeon Degenerates game content be made available as add-ons for this Kickstarter?" The answer is no.

Here's why: ACID VOMIT is its own project with its own timeline. Backers will receive their books in February 2020.

Meanwhile, we are nearly sold out of the second printing of Dungeon Degenerates: Hand of Doom, which means we will be ordering the third printing very soon. In fact, we will be running the Hand of Doom third printing Kickstarter campaign directly after this one. It's our hope that we will conclude that campaign in August, which allows us to place the third printing order with our factory, with an estimate of a December 2019 delivery.

The third printing Kickstarter will be the best way for our International fans to get the game without paying super high shipping. I'm sure you'll agree people will want to get their games as soon as possible, and not have them held until February 2020 (in the USA, possibly a little later for international backers).

So it's the difference in the two campaigns (one for a new project that needs development, one for a straight reprint) and timelines (Dec 2019 vs Feb 2020) that makes this into two separate things.

That said, there is going to be a ton of Dungeon Degenerates artwork in ACID VOMIT (including previously unpublished pieces) so any fan of the game artwork will definitely want this book!

And finally, folks who have been paying attention to our Instagram accounts have noticed we are currently play testing a new Dungeon Degenerates game! We're not quite ready for the official announcement, but this is going to be a cheaper price point, easier to learn and play dungeon crawler featuring adventurers, monsters and loot from the base game. Think of it as a prequel, an easy intro into the world of the Wurstreich, a game you can play with kids and inexperienced players. We're estimating being ready to run the Kickstarter campaign for that project in September!

Of course we will make official announcements about these campaigns as soon as we can. Stay tuned for details!

48 hours to go!

Thank you to everyone who has backed and shared the campaign!

We are at 112% of our funding goal with 48 hours left on the campaign! Now would be a great time for a last minute back or share to help us push this even higher and get as many people as possible on board with ACID VOMIT!

Thank you all for your continued support!
