The books are here! And of course, the state of Oregon just went into a "shelter in place" lockdown and all non-essential businesses are closed. Which includes GOBLINKO. But! I'm here and I have all the shipping supplies already, so I think I we can still proceed with Kickstarter fulfillment, but with no employees it's going to take quite a bit longer to send everyone's books out. We appreciate your continued patience while we do our best to get everyone's books shipped out to them. Stay safe everyone!
Another shipping update

Hello Backers! I have another update about the books, unfortunately not the "they're on the way here!" one I wanted to post today, but here's the latest info...
Back when the Kickstarter campaign was live, we were approached by Gingko Press/Ingram Distributing about doing a "co-release" of the book with them. So when we went to press, we had 3,000 books printed: 2,000 were shipped here for our Kickstarter fulfillment, and 1,000 were shipped to Ingram's warehouses (some to Germany and some to Pennsylvania) for their sales & distribution.
Unfortunately, due to the global coronavirus situation, our books have been stuck at the port of Seattle for a month and we don't know when we are going to get them. Meanwhile, the books shipped to Ingram's warehouses made it through, and they are now shipping out to people who pre-ordered through their channels.
Of course it was our intention to get the books here first and have them shipped out to all of our backers before the other books even made it to Ingram, but we got caught in the crossfire of this pandemic mess. It has always been our intention to have the books in our backers' hands first, before selling them anywhere else. We hope that you all understand, and since we are in an unprecedented situation, you'll continue to be patient and not think we're trying to pull a fast one on ya if you see someone posting that they have a copy of the book.
We are doing everything we can to get the books here and out to you as soon as possible, but there's only so much we can do in this situation. Thank you AGAIN for your continued patience and support.
We will be rolling forward with our next Kickstarter campaign in a couple weeks even though this one still remains open. I acknowledge it's a "bad look", but again, we are not in control of this shipping situation, and we still need to move forward with our next projects so that the delay with this doesn't cause more delays downstream. Customs inspection update... sort of

Hello backers! I just heard from our contact about the customs inspection and here's the news: "Shipment is still waiting in line for exam. There are 8 containers ahead of yours. I will keep you posted once container is in a door and exam begins." So, now we know where we are in line, but I have no idea how fast the line moves. Here's hoping they can inspect these containers quickly! Thank you for your continued patience while we wait for the books to arrive.
